I hate marketing bullshit, and that's why I'm here.
I seek to inspire and motivate – to get people out of their chairs and impassioned and excited like I am – about disruptive products and world-changing organizations who are shaking things up.
For brands who want their messaging to be as bold as their vision is, I bring who they are on the inside to life in their stories.
I got my start writing for a digital brokerage who had me cranking out 5,000 words a week to help them monetize their sites. I didn't know it at the time, but it was my baptism by fire – I got my feet wet in the best place possible.
After publishing endless blogs for their sites on tech products, I moved on to some other projects, and my work got broader. I was still writing a ton, but I began managing and training other writers. Pretty soon, I was conducting outreach for co-branding partnerships. I was consulting on ad strategy. I got thrown into a product marketing role, and content strategy exploded beyond the point of user acquisition.
All of my training has taken place on the job. Led by a few online courses, too many ebooks and blogs, and a series of very patient mentors and colleagues, I've pieced together a multidisciplinary skillset that has made me both a very skilled writer, and a true marketing generalist.
